Game Won't Load

If Rise of Merlin Quest is not loading, the most common causes are an outdated browser, disabled JavaScript, or a temporary network issue. We cover all of these scenarios in the troubleshooting section below, with step-by-step instructions for each major browser. Most loading issues resolve within two minutes once the underlying cause is identified.

Progress Not Saving

Game progress is saved to your browser's local storage. If progress has been lost, it is most likely because browser data was cleared, you switched to a different browser or device, or you are browsing in private/incognito mode. Registering a free community account enables cloud-based progress saving that persists across devices. See the progress section below for full details.

Display & Visual Issues

If the game interface appears distorted, overlapping, or incorrectly sized, the most likely cause is a browser zoom setting that has been adjusted from the default. Setting your browser zoom to 100% resolves the majority of visual layout issues. If you are experiencing colour or contrast issues, please see the accessibility section — we offer adjustable display settings for players with visual requirements.

Account & Community

Community account issues — including forgotten usernames, problems with email verification, and requests to close an account — are handled by our support team directly. Please email hello@allgaminginca.com with your username and a brief description of the issue. We respond to account-related requests within two business days.

System Requirements

Browser and device support

AllGaming CA requires a modern web browser with JavaScript enabled. The following browsers are fully supported in their current and immediately previous major versions:

Chrome

Google Chrome

Version 120 and above. Chrome is our primary development browser and provides the most consistent experience. Ensure automatic updates are enabled for the best performance. Chrome on Android is also fully supported for mobile play.

Firefox

Mozilla Firefox

Version 121 and above. Firefox is fully supported and performs well on both desktop and laptop configurations. If you use Firefox's enhanced tracking protection, some non-essential features may behave differently — core gameplay is unaffected.

Safari

Apple Safari

Version 17 and above on macOS and iOS. Safari on iPhone and iPad is fully supported. If you are using an older iOS version, we recommend updating to the current release for the best experience. Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention is compatible with our platform.

Edge

Microsoft Edge

Version 120 and above (Chromium-based). The current version of Edge, which is built on the same engine as Chrome, provides a fully compatible experience. The legacy (non-Chromium) version of Edge is not supported. Internet Explorer is not supported under any circumstances.

JavaScript requirement: JavaScript must be enabled in your browser for AllGaming CA to function. Most browsers have JavaScript enabled by default. If you have disabled it via a browser extension or security setting, the game engine will not run. Instructions for re-enabling JavaScript are available in your browser's help documentation.

Screen resolution: A minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels is required. We recommend 1280 x 800 or higher for the best experience on desktop. The interface is fully responsive and adapts to smaller screens, though some strategic interface elements are more comfortable at larger sizes.

Connection speed: A standard broadband connection (5 Mbps or faster) is sufficient. The game assets load within a few seconds on typical Canadian broadband connections. No ongoing high-bandwidth connection is required during play.

Troubleshooting

Step-by-step issue resolution

The game does not load or shows a blank screen

  1. Confirm that JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings.
  2. Perform a hard refresh: press Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux or Command+Shift+R on macOS.
  3. Clear your browser cache: in Chrome, go to Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data. Select "Cached images and files" and clear.
  4. Disable browser extensions temporarily — particularly ad blockers or script blockers — and reload the page.
  5. Try opening the game in a different supported browser to determine whether the issue is browser-specific.
  6. If none of the above resolves the issue, contact us with your browser version, operating system, and a description of what you see on screen.

Game progress has disappeared

  1. Confirm that you are using the same browser on the same device where you previously played. Progress saved via local storage is browser- and device-specific.
  2. Check whether you have recently cleared your browser's cookies or site data — this action erases local storage alongside cookies.
  3. Confirm that you are not in private or incognito browsing mode, which does not retain local storage between sessions.
  4. If you have a community account, your cloud-saved progress should be available — log in to restore it.
  5. If you do not have a community account and your local progress has been lost, we regret that we are unable to restore it from our end, as local storage data is not transmitted to our servers. We recommend registering a free community account to prevent future loss.

The game runs slowly or with visual stuttering

  1. Close other browser tabs and applications to free up system memory.
  2. Ensure your browser is up to date — older versions may not support the rendering optimisations used by the game engine.
  3. On laptops, check that the device is not in a battery-saving power mode, which can throttle processor performance.
  4. If you are on a mobile device, ensure sufficient free storage and close background applications.
  5. Reducing your browser's zoom level to exactly 100% can sometimes improve rendering performance.

Audio is not working

  1. Check your device's system volume and ensure it is not muted.
  2. Verify that the browser tab is not muted — right-click the tab in Chrome or Firefox to see mute options.
  3. Check the in-game audio settings to confirm that sound is enabled within the game itself.
  4. Some browsers block audio on sites until the user interacts with the page — clicking anywhere on the game interface typically activates audio if this is the cause.
Accessibility

Our accessibility commitment

AllGaming CA is committed to making our platform accessible to as wide an audience as possible. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our baseline standard. This page and all platform content are designed to be operable with keyboard navigation and compatible with screen reader software.

Rise of Merlin Quest includes several built-in accessibility features. Text size can be increased independently of browser zoom using the in-game settings. Colour contrast across the interface exceeds WCAG AA requirements for all primary text elements. Key game controls are remappable for players who require alternative input configurations.

We are aware that our current accessibility provision, while above baseline, has room for improvement — particularly in the area of complex interactive elements within the game engine. We are actively working on expanded screen reader support and additional keyboard navigation refinements for our next major update.

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements on the AllGaming CA website are reachable and operable via keyboard. Use Tab to move between interactive elements, Enter or Space to activate buttons and links, and Escape to close overlay panels. The game interface itself supports keyboard play for all primary strategic actions.

Screen Reader Support

Platform pages are built with semantic HTML and include appropriate ARIA labels for interactive elements. We test with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. If you encounter a screen reader compatibility issue, please report it to us with the name of the screen reader software and the version you are using.

Colour & Contrast

Our design uses a single teal accent colour (#0D9488) against white and near-black backgrounds. All primary text meets or exceeds the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1. The game interface includes a high-contrast display mode accessible via the settings panel, which increases contrast ratios further for players with low vision.

Motion & Animation

AllGaming CA respects the prefers-reduced-motion browser setting. When this setting is active, decorative animations and transitions on the website are disabled or reduced. The game engine also includes an option to reduce or eliminate animated effects within the gameplay interface, accessible via the game's display settings.
